Pros: I do a bit of graphic work and gaming, and while I can't comment on how accurate the colors actually are (since I have very little experience in that field), everything does look nicer and more realistic after calibration.
The process itself is really easy. Just stick it onto your monitor (the calibrator has suction cups like a tentacle) and let the program run itself through.
Cons: Sometimes I'm a little scared when I'm trying to affix the unit to my LCD monitor, but I haven't done any damage to the two or three monitors I've owned.
The biggest issue I've had was due to defective units. The very first Huey I bought over a year ago kept on producing a magenta color cast so it felt like I was staring at my monitor through rose-tinted glasses. Apparently this is a fairly common problem with the units (search 'color cast' on Pantone's site). So I submitted an inquiry to tech support, and they were really quick to issue me a replacement. I received it in about a week, and the replacement worked correctly.
Fast forward nearly a year later, the replacement unit started exhibiting the same problem. Contacted technical support again, now they're sending yet another replacement. Hopefully the third unit won't fail me either.
Other Thoughts: So while I am satisfied with the results of calibrating with the Huey, I'm not so thrilled with the fact that my first unit and its replacement both turned my monitor pinkish.
Fortunately, dealing with Pantone support has been painless and they've been pretty awesome about issuing me replacements quickly, otherwise I'd be quite disappointed.
Pros: Super easy. Less than 5 min to calibrate
Cons: None that I can see.
Other Thoughts: For a digital work flow this is as important as any lens, or tablet input. Just get it and save yourself a huge headache!
Pros: Cheap, good for first time buyers like me. In other words, it's a good entry point to figure out the hard way what NOT to use.
Cons: The colors are way off. No matter what the ambient light -- fluorescent, tungsten, or 6500K daylight lamp, this thing color 'corrects' by cooling down the entire picture. My white point looks like light blue, all the time.
The suction cups stopped working after a couple of months too.
Other Thoughts: After wrestling with this thing for months, I'm finally going to purchase a high quality calibrator. Too bad I didn't buy a professional one in the first place.
Pros: Accurate, easy to use, and affordable.

Other Thoughts: I purchased the Huey to help calibrate my newly purchased LCD monitor. I use Linux on my graphics workstation and choose the Huey because it works with the Argyll Color Management System. After calibrating my LCD monitor I found several other uses for the Huey including helping me to calibrate my Plasma TV and my mom's old CRT monitor. I highly recommend this product for graphic artists and anyone looking to get the best possible output from their monitor.
Pros: Inexpensive and small. Also, while others have criticized the ambient light adjustment, I think that it works pretty well.
Cons: Non that I can see so far.
Other Thoughts: My wife is an amateur photographer. We purchased a new ips monitor for photo editing. After a few weeks, the monitor colors just didn't look right. We purchased this, hoping that a calibration is all that it would need (as opposed to an RMA number). Calibrator worked great. Took out the weird green shadows that were starting to develop. Definitely worth the money, especially with free shipping. Also, Newegg is the best. Free shipping was 3 day guaranteed, Newegg shipped it 2nd day air, still no charge. Can't beat that.
Pros: Cheap, works well after having it replaced due to magenta cast problem (more below).
Cons: Magenta cast problem out of the box. Newegg will not take it back on RMA. You will have to deal with Pantone to get it fixed.
Other Thoughts: As of of this writing, the units being shipped still have magenta cast problem. To their credit, Pantone seems to have a pretty good understanding of this known issue and they sent a replacement unit no questions asked. The replacement arrived via UPS in 7 days and it works fine.
Pros: I'm a gamer, and have noticed a large differnace in the coloration of games at differnt houses on differnt monitors. So I thought this might for once give me a way to solidate the colors. It worked. Although For gaming it does not make a huge impact, I like it. If you have a monitor, you should probly have this to calabrate it.
Cons: Needs a better way to stay on the monitor, and and option for dual monitors.
Other Thoughts: I would prefer if this simply adjusted the windows color template, as oposed to using a software overlay, as that can be subverted in an api layer, or via direct X. But so far I have not seen any thing that does.
Pantone Huey Pro Software Download
Pros: Quick and easy. Colors was corrected to perfection.
Cons: Had to download the updated software to enable calibration on a Mac.
Other Thoughts: Although it (Huey) calibrated my new Samsung LCD it did not however do much on my Mac. Hence, if you are buying this to calibrate a Macbook Pro you will see very little in change.
